Scholarships at College of Marin

The College of Marin Enrollment Services Office offers integrated admissions, financial aid, and scholarships services to College of Marin students.

How to apply

We have just launched our new centralized online scholarship system, and it's ready to go starting today! To get started please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate here: AcademicWorks
  2. If you're not signed into COM yet you'll see a button for Sign Into Your Institution -- click this and then enter your regular COM login and password on the following screen.
  3. The first page you'll see is the General Application. It is important to fill this out as soon as you can. Once you've completed the General Application, our new system will automatically find scholarships that
  4. you may be eligible for!
  5. Finally after the General Application go under the Opportunities menu and explore any scholarships you'd like to apply for.

What is a scholarship?

Scholarships are a source of funding benefitting students at an educational institution in support of their academic achievement. Scholarships are not a loan and are not part of the federal financial aid program.

Where does College of Marin scholarship money come from?

A number of endowed and annual scholarships have been established to benefit College of Marin student in support of the academic studies.

What are the general eligibility criteria for scholarships?

Scholarships reward students for academic achievement, financial need, academic field of study, community service, campus activities, and outside interests.

What scholarships are available?

A number of scholarships are available, COM scholarships including the Haddie Academic Scholarship and League of Women’s Voters of Marin County Education Foundation among others.
