Scholarships at College of Marin

The College of Marin Enrollment Services Office offers integrated admissions, financial aid, and scholarships services to College of Marin students.

Spring 2016 Scholarship Applications will be available during the Spring Semester. Watch for MyCOM Portal Announcements and Emails with availability & deadlines.

Read the scholarship criteria first, then fill out and submit the General Scholarship Application.

Bring your completed application form and statement letter to the Enrollment Services Office located in the Student Services Building at the Kentfield Campus

What is a scholarship?

Scholarships are a source of funding benefitting students at an educational institution in support of their academic achievement. Scholarships are not a loan and are not part of the federal financial aid program.

Where does College of Marin scholarship money come from?

A number of endowed and annual scholarships have been established to benefit College of Marin student in support of the academic studies.

What are the general eligibility criteria for scholarships?

Scholarships reward students for academic achievement, financial need, academic field of study, community service, campus activities, and outside interests.

What scholarships are available?

A number of scholarships are available, including the new Haddie Academic Scholarship and League of Women’s Voters of Marin County Education Foundation among others. A complete list of all available scholarships is available online.

The Whiting Law Group, Ltd., LLC offers a yearly $1,000 scholarship to individuals who are currently attending or planning on attending college or graduate school in the near future. Apply here: Whiting Law Group Scholarship. Deadline to apply: July 15, 2016

The Goedeker’s Book Scholarship is available nationwide to all students (Undergraduate and Graduate) and available to all fields of study, while the Goedeker’s Public Service Scholarship is only available to government employees and their families.
