COM Celebrates the International Year of Astronomy
Kentfield, CA—April 13, 2009--College of Marin will host the exhibit “From Earth to the Universe” in honor of the International Year of Astronomy. In an attempt to bring the beauty of astronomy to the general public, the exhibit features images taken from both ground- and space-based telescopes. The exhibit will be on display from Monday, April 27, to Friday, May 1, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the first floor of the College of Marin Learning Resources Center, 835 College Ave, Kentfield, CA. The event is open to the public. There is no fee for the event, but a parking fee of $3 is required to park in college lots.
