|14 - The Golden Gate|
Make sure that you walk across the road and take a look at the Golden Gate and the marvelous view of San Francisco (assuming that there is no fog!) and Baker Beach across the gate.
Contemplate that 18,000 years ago there was no San Francisco Bay and the shoreline was out beyond the Farallone Islands.
Now walk back down to the parking lot, contemplate your walk through this old seafloor sequence and continue the trip after crossing the bridge (on this field trip you don't have to worry about the $3 toll).
