15 - Sole marks on the base of turbidite layer.

As a turbidity current rushes out over the previously deposited shale, it shapes the shale and the sand settles into those shapes.  If, as is seen in this example, one could look at the bottom of the sandstone layer, you would see the preserved shapes that the turbidity current had created. Geologists call these features sole marks.
