| The presence of exotic rocks like the granitic rock on the right and the rounded masses to the left of the quarter and just below it, suggest to some that the melange may have been an undersea landslide of older sea floor materials that had been plastered onto the edge of the continent but had slid back into the depths as a large undersea landslide. |
