The Corte Madera Entrance to Ring Mountain

This is the view of the entrance at the origins of the "To See A World Project." At the time it was owned and maintained by the Nature Conservancy and recognized the contributions of those who played a role in its Preservation. The property has now been transferred to the Marin County Open Space District. If you can't read the sign, here is a slightly better version.

Remember everything within the Preserve is classified as "leverite". Otherwise you may just hear someone with official capacity say " Leave'er right there." This site contains several endangered and threatened species, minerals and archeological features which are protected under California and Federal Law. The penalties under the 1973 Endangered Species Act give additional information regarding your visit to Ring Mountain.
