A review of the players:

In trench number one, Nikki, a Cypriot student of archeology in England.

In trench number two, Norma, a psychologist and violinist from Brooklyn.

In trench number three, Barbara and Tina.

Kalib, our stockbroker and entrepreneur from Pakistan.

Helping Kalib with the clean up duties, Malcomb, a
retired government employee who did significant
work in the disability arena.  He is also particularly
fond of athletics...especially the collegiate final four
baketball competition.

The ever-present and not always frowning, Ben, our thoroughly enjoyable
Isle of Jersey lad who is attending University in Scotland.

And the staff:

Glynnis, supply coordinator and chauffeur for much of the time
she was clearly the swimmer in the group and did not miss an
opportunity to get in the water. As seen below she did some
sketching  in the field but seemed to be stuck drawing bits of
archeological fragments in the dig house.

Anna, our English lass finishing her university work
in archeology who was quite amused by how we americans
fracture her beloved English language but took to Blackjack
the card game, not the whisky, with a vengeance.

The seeming indefatigable Christina, the assistant to a
Professor of Archeology in Switzerland and who made us
all look bad in the work arena and commitment to
archeology on a diet of cigarettes and minimal food.

Hugh, an Irish government employee who is linked with the co-PI
and who finally mastered pulling into our parking space without
killing the engine...good go lad!

Anne, our task master and fortunately a great tour guide to
some incredible sites that gave us novices important breaks.

And who could forget the delightful wit, compassionate
teaching, hands-on approach and the wonderful bellows
music that Walter entertained and educated us with.
