The Business Office Systems curriculum provides training and skills needed by workers in today's automated offices. Foundation skills such as keyboarding and word processing are offered, along with specialty courses such as medical terminology and transcription. Courses emphasize skill development and hands-on computer use. An A.S. degree in Business Office Systems is offered, along with Career and Skills Certificates. Course work will lead to a variety of career pathways: office manager, administrative or executive assistant, medical office assistant, manager, transcriber, or secretary. |
