Located on the IVC campus, the ACRT Program offers entry-level training into one or more of the many service branches of the expanding automotive body repair and maintenance fields. Graduates work as auto design engineers, specialists in body work and painting, insurance estimators/adjusters, as well as becoming shop owners, operators, and supervisors. Students can earn an A. S. degree in Master Collision Repair. Students who complete only the required courses for the major will receive a Career Certificate. Skills Certificates are awarded in Mechanical and Electrical Components, Nonstructural Damage Repair, Painting and Refinishing, and Structural Damage Repair.
