TRANSFER ADMISSION GUARANTEE (TAG)
What is Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG)? The Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program offers guaranteed admission to students who complete a core set of courses at College of Marin, a full term prior to transferring to one of the following participating California Universities: UC Davis UC Santa Barbara UC Irvine UC Santa Cruz UC Merced UC San Diego UC Riverside With TAG, you receive early notification of admission, and opportunities for individualized advising about major preparation. How do I arrange for TAG? If you’re taking the transfer route and would like to apply for TAG, make an appointment with a Counselor at 415-485-9632 to be sure you meet all requirements before a TAG is written.
How do I apply for TAG? If you are interested in applying for TAG, please make an appointment with a Counselor at 415-485-9432 (Student Services Room 212). A Counselor will evaluate your transcripts to make sure you meet all requirements before a TAG is written. What happens after a TAG is approved? Ones your TAG is written and submitted to the University of your choice, an admissions representative from the university will contact you with further information.
