This page provides information on the services and health education available at both campuses, Kentfield and Indian Valley. If you have questions, comments, or would like to make an appointment, please contact one of either the Kentfield or Indian Valley.
The Student Health Center is staffed by a physician, registered nurses
and health services assistants who are ready to help students maintain
their health. Health services are offered in two ways:
- On a drop-in basis where students are seen by the CNS or RN
- By appointment with the physician
Services include:
- First aid
- Limited care for acute, non-chronic illnesses
- Pregnancy testing and birth control information
- Immunizations including tetanus, measles, mumps and rubella, hepatitis
A & B (prearranged nominal fee); TB testing
- Physicals for colleges entrance requirements and COM academic programs only
- Lab tests (limited)
- Over-the-counter, self-care medications
- Blood pressure screening
- Vision and hearing testing
- Safe sex information
- Sexually transmitted diseases and referral information
- Referrals to low cost community agencies

Flu Shot Schedule for Fall/Winter 2012

The College of Marin Health Center will be offering seasonal flu shots for $20. Clinic dates are as follows:
Kenfield Campus, Health Services Portable
Friday,Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon
Friday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon
The Health Center is not a Medicare provider and is not able to bill insurance plans. Anyone wishing to receive a shot must be 18 years of age or older. For more information call (415) 485-9458.
Please note that we will be offering flu shots throughout the month of October and November after our last official clinic ends for as long as the supply last.

The Student Health Center offers limited health care for currently
registered students only. Health services are totally supported by student
health fees.

All currently registered students have limited coverage under the Student
Team and Accident Insurance for accidental injuries involving supervised
campus/school activities. This coverage is secondary to the individual's
own personal medical plan.
