Approval and Adoption of Agenda & Minutes

• Senator Lutz moved to suspend the rules and change the order of business to deal with the minutes first and then the agenda.
  • Motion adopted

•  Senator Gaiz moved to accept the minutes

• Senator Lutz declared a motion to include the motion that was pending from last week’s meeting.
• Point of order made by Senator Schreck to wait to be recognized by the chair before speaking.

Lutz motioned to change the order of the agenda to take up unfinished business. Pending motion: Until this is decided by a vote of the faculty of the whole the previous vote is null and void and all the people who were appointed by the previous senate remain to complete their terms.

• Committee members who were removed from their seats will now hold their seats until the faculty wide referendum determines their status.

 

• A process for committee appointments will be brought to the Senate next week.

 

• Senator Schreck calls for a Point of Order: Senators must first be recognized before they speak.
