Spring Semester Starts January 23 - May 25, 2012 (First day of Saturday classes is January 21)

Online registration through MyCOM.marin.edu:

  • Athletes, DSPS, EOPS and Veterans Students begin registering: November 14, 2011
  • Continuing Students begin registering according to priority: November 15, 2011
  • New and Readmitted Students begin registering according to priority: December 6, 2011

Important Dates:

  • Concurrently enrolled High School Students begin registering (In-person, along with CCP/Parent form): January 13, 2012
  • Last day for dismissed students to file a Petition to Return: February 3, 2012
  • Last day to drop or reduce course work to qualify for a refund of enrollment fees, nonresident tuition, and international student tuition: February 3, 2012
  • Last Day to Drop a Full-term class without a "W" grade. Date equivalent to 30% of term for short-term classes: February 21, 2012
  • Last Day to Request P/NP Grade for full-term classes: February 27, 2012
  • Last Day to file a Petition to Add Late: February 24, 2012
  • Last day to drop a Full-term class with a "W" grade. Date equivalent to 75% of term for short-term classes: April 20, 2012
  • Last day for accepting International Student Applications for Spring 2012: November 30, 2011

Important Notice:
Students also should note that the California legislature raised enrollment fees* to $36 per unit. Federal and State financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Contact the Financial Aid Office (415) 485-9409 at your earliest convenience to find out more.

* Fees have been increased by the California Legislature and Governor Brown who signed Senate Bill 70 increasing California community college enrollment fees from $26 to $36 per semester unit effective fall 2011.

Attending College of Marin for the first two-years of your four-year degree or for job training is still a great deal when compared to the cost of attending four-year universities.
