Heat, Light, Sound, and Modern Physics
Prerequisite: PHYS207A&(MATH223CE)
This is a calculus-based course for physical science majors. It introduces
the physics of fluids, the first and second laws of thermodynamics,
kinetic theory of gases, light and sound waves, optical instruments,
modern physics including the theory of relativity, atomic structure of
matter, nuclear physics, and a brief introduction to quantum theory.
