CHIN 101 5.0 units Elementary Chinese Mandarin I A variety of teaching strategies and activities will be used to introduce, reinforce, and apply basic vocabulary, phrases and dialogues that are used in daily situations. Pinyin will be used to facilitate pronunciation, differentiation of tones (or pitch) and learning of Chinese characters.
