The Superintendent/President is the chief executive officer of the District serving under the direction of the Board of Trustees.
The Superintendent/ President provides overall administrative leadership to the College and monitors institutional adherence to the policies prescribed and adopted by the Board of Trustees.
The President also provides institutional leadership in carrying out the mission and strategic goals of the College.

Frances L. White Welcome to the College of Marin. Founded in 1926, College of Marin is one of California’s premier community colleges. College of Marin is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Whether your immediate goal is to transfer to a four-year university; train for a new career; improve your basic skills; or enjoy the benefits of lifelong learning and cultural enrichment we have programs to help you succeed.

The majority of our courses are transferable to four-year colleges and universities and many of our students go on to earn their baccalaureate degrees at prestigious universities such as UC Berkeley, Stanford, San Francisco State University, and UCLA.. By attending College of Marin for your freshman and sophomore years you will save thousands of dollars on the total cost of your baccalaureate degree.
