The visitors represented various educational institutions and included two Board members, a school principal, and several K-12 instructors. Currently the majority of College of Marin’s international students are Japanese. A big round of applause goes out to Vickie Lamke, ASCOM representatives, ASEC representatives, M&O staff, and Laurie Loeffler for their hard work in organizing the wonderful Thanksgiving Luncheon held at IVC on Thursday, November 16th. Mauricio Torres-Benavides was instrumental to the success of the 11th annual Peer Summit hosted at COM earlier this month. Approximately 300 middle school students and adults attended. Special thanks also go to June Yokell, ASCOM, and the Student Senate for their assistance.
