Periodicals

You may search periodicals (journals, magazines, and newspapers) at College of Marin - both electronic and print. There are two methods you can use:

1) Browse the periodicals alphabetically. (Please note that a separate browser window will open when you submit your selection and you will be taken to another web site.)
Click below on the first letter of the title, then select your title from the results list.

Select an option from the pull-down menu to define your search.

 

Search options Definition of search results
Title begins with Retrieve titles begining with this word (words). This is the DEFAULT search.
Title equals Exact title search. This is the most specific search. Use it to quickly find a particular title.

Title contains all words

Words can be in any order. Find all titles having a common word (e.g. psychology). Truncation is an asterisk *. Search on partial words using truncation (e.g. neuro*), or a word or words (e.g health psychology) anywhere they appear in the title.

ISSN Search for a title with a specific ISSN Number.
