A Message from the Coordinator

by Marie McCarthy

Disabled Students Programs & Services Coordinator Marie McCarthy.    The Disabled Students Program continues its commitment to address the needs of Marin's disabled community.

Through our Community Education component, our program offers a wide variety of classes and support groups (all free of charge) to address specific disability issues. The selection includes such courses as Symptom Management for students with psychological disabilities, Computer Lab for developmentally delayed learners, a stroke support group for students with acquired brain injury, Management of Hearing Loss... and this is just a sample.

If you would like to see a full listing of both credit and non-credit classes, go to our website at www.marin.edu/disabled. Furthermore, if you or your friends would like to see additional courses or groups offered through the Disabled Students Program, please let us know by phone (415-485-9406) or e-mail (rfb@marin.edu), and we will be more than happy to consider your suggestions.

   We aim to please!
