High Tech Computer Center Information
College of Marin's High Tech Computer Center provides cognitive retraining to individuals who have experienced a stroke or head injury, as well as learning skills development for students with learning disabilities. Computer and word processing training are also provided for learning and physically disabled students, to meet their academic needs and to prepare them for competitive employment.
The Center offers a supportive program, with specialists in the following areas:
- Computer TechnologyAcquired Brain InjurySpeech PathologyLearning DisabilityAdvisingAdapted computer technology for students with disabilitiesCognitive rehabilitation for students with acquired brain injuriesComputer enrichment for students with learning disabilities
- Extended educational services to Department of Rehabilitation clients.
A preliminary interview with the coordinator, Harriet Eskildsen, is required prior to enrollment. The High Tech Computer Center is located in the Disabled Students Programs & Services offices, off Laurel Ave. in Kentfield (415-457-8811, ext,7701).
