LANSchool  Instructions


LANSchool
 is a software program installed in the Computer Writing Classroom (CWC Room BC 101) designed to give teachers full control of all the computers in the room.


With LanSchool installed on each computer, you have the ability to:


Instructions:

 

Using Lan School to view a students computer screen on the instructor’s station:

Right click on the LS icon at the bottom right corner of the instructor’s screen

Click on “View Student” and a list of computers will pop up on your screen

Click on the name of the computer that you wish to view.

 

To broadcast another student’s paper to all of the computers in the room:

Right click on the LS icon at the bottom right corner of the instructor’s screen

Click on “View Student” and a list of computers will pop up on your screen

Click on the remote control icon at the right top corner of the LS dialogue box

Click on “Rebroadcast Student”

 

To broadcast the instructor’s screen to all of the computers in the room:

Right click on the LS icon at the bottom right corner of the instructor’s screen

Click on start broadcast

 

To blank the screens on all of the computers in the room:

Right click on the LS icon at the bottom right corner of the instructor’s screen

Click on “Blank Students”

 

To restore the screens on all of the computers in the room:

Right click on the LS icon at the bottom right corner of the instructor’s screen

Click on “Restore Students”
