What is a graphic
organizer?
A Graphic Organizer is a chart of
one, two or three columns (or as many as are deemed fitting), where you
can graphically represent your ideas. Use it to generate, plan,
and organize thoughts when given a written assignment.
Why should you use
a graphic organizer?
Using a graphic organizer when
preparing to write will give you a place to visualize your thinking and
can help you plan and organize your writing. If you are unsure
where to go in an essay, it can help you decide what you'll want to say
and how you'll want to say it.
