Study Abroad

To offer more study abroad immersion opportunities for students, College of Marin will join the Northern California Study Abroad Consortium as an Associate Member in 2008-2009.

You can learn more about and enroll in a study abroad program through COM’s study abroad partner – Santa Rosa Junior College at http://www.santarosa.edu/sa/., Or, call Santa Rosa Junior College, Office of Study Abroad, (707) 527-4441.

The NCSAC Consortium is running a one semester-length study abroad program in Florence, Italy, in Spring 2009
Dates of Florence Program: February 1, 2009 – May 1, 2009
Costs begin at $6,545 (does not include airfare)
Final Application Deadline for Spring 2009 Program is Thursday, November 5, although students are encouraged to enroll by the Priority Application Deadline of Friday, September 26, for a better choice of classes.
Information Meetings at COM regarding the Florence Program will be held on: Thursday, August 28, 4-5 p.m., Harlan Center 124 and on Thursday, October 2, 5-6 p.m., Harlan Center 124, Kentfield Campus.

College of Marin is one of 112 public community colleges in California and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Approximately 10,000 credit and noncredit students enroll each fall and spring semester. Classes also are offered during the summer.
