Michele Martinisi, a native of Caserta, Italy, came to the U.S. as a young man in 1990. He graduated from UC Berkeley in Spanish and Italian in 1999 with high honors. Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Delta Pi, Sociedad nacional hispanica. In 2002, he received a Master Degree in Romance Languages and Literature, University of California at Los Angeles, with a specialization in Italian literature of the XVIIIth century. He has been teaching Italian and Spanish at College of Marin since 2002 and is currently Chairman of the Modern Languages department at College of Marin.
