Jeannette (Jeanie) Leighton, M.A., is an ASL native user and has been teaching American Sign Language and Deaf Culture for over 25 years.  Jeannie has been actively involved in the deaf community and encourages her students to do the same. She works to create a lively, ASL immersion classroom and teaches with a holistic approach to the language.  In her free time, Jeannie enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family and dogs. 

B.A. Gallaudet University; First Masters Degree in Deaf Education, and Second Masters Degree in Teaching American Sign Language, Western Maryland College.
