Rosalind A. Hartman, RN, MSNDirector of Health Sciences Education and Experience The Director of Health Sciences, who is academically and experientially qualified and meets the Board of Registered Nursing Director requirements, administers the nursing unit. She holds a registered nurse license in the state of California, a Masters Degree from the University of California in San Francisco in Maternal Child Nursing, 20 years of experience in administration, 17 years experience in teaching in Associate Degree nursing programs in Hawaii and California, and several years experience in direct patient care in maternal child nursing.Professional Accomplishments The Director has served as the President of the California Organization of Associate Degree Nursing Program Directors of Northern California. She has attended numerous leadership development courses, has published a workbook for maternity nursing, written articles on nursing for local publications, presented to college and community groups, serves on numerous committees both college and community-wide, chaired nursing accreditation reviews, co-chaired a committee for the college self-study in 1997, served on the Board of Registered Nursing Sunset Review Committee for nursing education, and served on the Advisory Board for the California Institute for Nursing, and Health Care.
