Schedule Appointments

Counselor Hours by Appointment

Call the Counseling Department at (415) 485-9432 or (415) 485-9430 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday (Closed Fridays during the summer) for an appointment at the Indian Valley Campus (IVC) or Kentfield Campus (KTD).

Spring and Fall Semester Hours

Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Summer Hours

Summer hours vary. Please call the Counseling Department at (415) 485-9432 or (415) 485-9430 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday for information.

Schedule Appointments Online

Login to MyCOM to access the online counseling appointment system. One you have logged in, select "schedule an appointment with a counselor.” Counseling Department online scheduling is for currently registered and returning students (18 years and older).

One-hour appointments may not be scheduled online.

You must schedule an appointment by phone 415.485.9432 or in-person at the Counseling Department if you are a:

• Academic/Progress Dismissed Student

• Financial Aid Student on Appeal

• International Student

• New Student Athlete

• Transfer Student who has attended other colleges/universities

• Student receiving veteran benefits

EOPS and CalWorks students must call the EOPS office at 415. 485.9605 to schedule an appointment.

DSPS students may call the DSPS office at 415.485.9406 to schedule an appointment.

High school students may not schedule an appointment using the online scheduling system. Please consult your high school counselor for more information about College of Marin’s College Credit Program or call the COM Counseling Department at 415.485.9432.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, you must contact the Counseling Department at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, either by utilizing the online counseling appointment system in MyCOM or calling 415.485.9432 to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment.  

A student who misses two appointments without appropriate prior notification will lose access to the online appointment system for future appointments.
