QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY JUNIOR BOTANIST TEST

• Q. Who gives the test?
• A. Wendy Dreskin does. She's the Marin Education Chairperson. You can contact Wendy by e-mail.
  
  
• Q. If a child doesn't pass the test may s/he try again?
• A. Absolutely! Students may try as many times as they wish, but not twice on the same day.
  
  
• Q. Do all parts have to be taken at once?
• A. No, some children take each of the four parts on a different day. It's up to the student.
  
  
• Q. Can a student take the test at any grade level?
• A. Students may take the test at their own grade level or a higher grade level. A few students have passed the test at one or two levels above their grade level.
  
  
• Q. Are the flowers in the test identical to the ones in the study kit?
• A. Mostly, but some will be different photos of the same flowers.
