1)  Complete the Grammar Mechanics Checkup,  page 332.  One of the most useful sections of the Grammar Mechanics Handbook is the “Other Punctuation” section starting on page GM 34. This section gives valuable tips on the correct way to use periods, question marks, and other marks. The short examples will give you confidence about using these marks that many people are uncertain of. Take the Review Exercises on pages GM 37, then check your answers.
