CHILD AND ADOLESCENT DEVELOPMENT BACHELOR OF ARTS
Young Child and Family Concentration, Nature Study & Outdoor Education for Young Children EED 615: 3 units of upper division credit toward the Child and Adolescent Development (CAD) B.A. (Young Child Concentration) OR: 3 units of upper division continuing education credit for elementary school teachers Dates: 6/12, 6/13, 6/19, 6/20, 6/26, 6/27, 7/10 and 7/11. Fridays 5 - 9, and Saturdays 9 - 6, last Sat (7-11): 9 to 2. Location: Fridays: Indian Valley Campus Ohlone, Building 19, room 154; Saturdays: Indian Valley Preserve Saturdays will be devoted to field work and activities outdoors. We will have a wide range of activities for a wide range of physical abilities. Those with family or children will be able to include them on many of the Saturday activities. Pathways application form: *Eligibility for Pathways registration is determined by student status and the number of courses taken through Pathways. Only students who are not yet admitted to SFSU may register through Pathways, and students are limited to a lifetime maximum of two Pathways courses. After taking two Pathways courses, students should apply for admission to SFSU (when they meet the admission requirements) and may continue taking CAD courses on the COM/IVC campus, but paying regular SFSU student fees. Those who have taken two Pathways courses but are not yet ready to transfer may continue taking CAD courses at COM/IVC through the SFSU Open University, paying Open University fees of $650 per course. |
