News Contact: COM Expands Late Afternoon Classes for Spring Semester Kentfield, CA—December 16, 2010—Starting this spring semester College of Marin is launching a robust sequence of late afternoon credit classes designed to provide additional opportunities for students to complete the requirements for transfer to the University of California and California State University systems. Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and include: Art, Sign Language, Chinese Mandarin, Reading and Composition, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, American Political Institutions, Ethics, Psychology, and Introduction to Speech Communication among others. Students are encouraged to register early to ensure their first choice of classes. College of Marin offices will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 23 to Jan. 2.
