COM Shows Appreciation for Vets with Special Event

Kentfield, CA—November 8, 2011— College of Marin’s Veterans Association will host a Veterans Day Appreciation at the Kentfield Campus, in the Learning Center Quad. The event will be held Nov. 9, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Color Guard from American Legion Post 313, Larkspur, will present the colors at 10:30 a.m. accompanied by the National Anthem. Various club vendors will remain in the Quad until 2 p.m. At 2 p.m. the film “The Welcome” by Bill McMillen will be shown in the Student Services Center, Deedy Staff Lounge free of charge to students, alumni, and community members.
