News Release College of Marin will Celebrate the Month of the Young Child Kentfield, Calif., March 29, 2007—The College of Marin Children’s Centers will be celebrating the Month of the Young Child on Thursday, April 5, 2007. COM Superintendent/President Frances L. White will visit with the children at the Kentfield campus Children’s Center at 11 a.m. to read the fun filled story That’s Good! That’s Bad!, by Margery Cuyler. Ashley Busby and Sandy Miles of the Marin Conservation Corps will visit the Indian Valley Campus at 10 a.m to read an entertaining story about protecting our environment titled Some Smug Slug, by Pamela Duncan Edwards. “This should be a lot of fun for the children. They love to interact with new friends and books,” said Children’s Center Interim-Director Beth Root. The event is sponsored by the Parent Services Project, Inc.
