Drama Department Presents Western-Style Taming of the Shrew
Yee haw! We’re back in the saddle again with Director James Dunn’s iconic Wild West take on courtship gone wrong. Remounted to celebrate the Drama Department’s 50th anniversary (1964–2014), the western Shrew won the “Best of the Fringe” at the Edinburgh Festival in 1971 and was presented in a command performance to Her Royal Highness, Princess Margaret and her family. This show is great fun for the whole family and is a terrific way to introduce youngsters to Shakespeare. Note that there will be a talkback with the director and members of the production following the March 9 performance.
