Kidnapping / Sexual Assault Reported at Parking Lot 13, Kentfield Campus
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office and the College of Marin Police Department are conducting an investigation of kidnapping and sexual assault that may have begun in parking lot 13 of the Kentfield Campus at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014.
According to the victim, upon entering the victim’s vehicle after leaving class, the victim discovered the male suspect sitting in the back seat. The victim stated the suspect had a handgun and forced the victim to drive off the campus to a location in Marin County where the victim was sexually assaulted.
At this time, the only description of the suspect the victim was able to provide was that he was approximately 6 feet tall.
