District Modernization Committee (DMC)
College of Marin established the District Modernization Committee (DMC) to guide the Measure C Facilities Modernization Program. While no longer in force, this committee served an important role—to set the guiding principles and ensure compliance with the District’s Facilities Master Plan. Membership included three representatives each from Faculty, Student body, Staff and Administration, and two Trustees.
The DMC Subcommittee’s work is now complete. The four subcommittees for Systems, Exterior and Site, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment and Interior Finishes included Faculty, Staff, Students, Administrators and Consultants. Each group created District Standards that have been incorporated into building design.
