TextBooks

Course organization

These courses are 16 weeks long and organized into TOPICS of roughly 1-2  weeks in duration. Plan on spending at least 7 hours per week on the course materials. You are required to log onto the course at least once a week. Mondays are best, but you can pick whichever days and times suit you.

First Day of Class Instructions

All enrolled students are required to contact the instructor James Gonzalez at gonzalez500@hotmail.com, during  the first week of the term to hold their spot in the class. Registered student who do not check in with the instructor during this period can lose their spot to a student on the waitlist.

The waitlist is usually long for this class and with a shortage of class spots to meet demand; so it is important that you check in this first week.

Waitlist & Add Codes

If you are on the waitlist or attempting to add the course, email the instructor, James Gonzalez as soon as possible to indicate your desire to take the course and to receive information about available openings or course start up information. Please include your name, the section number of the class you wish to add, and your COM Student ID (if you have one) in your email. I do honor the official waitlist, adding students in the order they appear on the waitlist as spots open up.

Since enrolled students have the first week to check in, most spots do not open up until week 2 of the course, so be patient. The first week of class is mostly occupied by housekeeping tasks, so you will be able to quickly catch up in week 2.
