About Distance Education
College of Marin is using the latest technology to help you realize your educational goals. You can access your courses through the web from a computer or mobile device as you work toward your certificate or degree.
Our Distance Education program reaches beyond the traditional classroom in order to fill the educational and career needs of those not being best served by more conventional approaches. Distance Education courses provide an excellent alternative for students who are unable to attend classes during regular hours, or who would like to take additional units in a time-efficient manner.
All courses maintain the high academic standards of the college and most are transferable (see counselor for details). College-level courses are available in a variety of convenient formats.
Three-Year Distance Education Plan
Our Distance Education (DE) Plan provides thoughtful, college wide DE planning, and promotes the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the College. Our Strategic Plan guides the allocation and use of our resources and Objective 3 identifies specific implementation actions for our DE program.
