About me
I teach American Sign Language to all people who want to communicate with the deaf community and/or learn another language - as ASL is designated as a foreign language in high schools and colleges today.

I have been an American Sign Language instructor at College of Marin for 21 years. For sixteen years I taught non-credit community credit courses and for the last four years I've taught credit classes.

My Philosophy
American Sign Language is a VISUAL form of communication. Body language and facial expression are the main ways of communicating to those who can't hear. As a hard of hearing person myself, I want to invite you into a world where you "hear" with your eyes.

ASL is a picture language. I teach you how to convey emotional feelings, actions, ideas - the whole range of human communication through this very expressive language.
