About me
-I have worked at COM for twelve years in both Credit and Non-Credit ESL, as well as the IEP program. I was also an ESL teacher for close to twenty years at City College of San Francisco and other Bay Area community colleges (Napa Valley, College of San Mateo, etc.) I used to teach native speakers in high school until I became an ESL teacher.

My Philosophy
I love to work with students and like to engage them with interesting materials and lots of discussion in the classroom. My students have so much to offer; I learn from them and help them to learn from me how to empower themselves in their second language of English.

Additional Information
I am a resident of Marin who lived in the Napa Valley for a long time as well as San Francisco before moving to Greenbrae in 1999. I have two grown children and one granddaughter who is now five. Both of my children are teachers - my son at University of California in the Physical Education Department teaching yoga and dance, and my daughter at Mar Vista in Aptos near Santa Cruz teaching first grade currently. I have studied yoga for a very long time, love to read, enjoy walking, bird-watching, films, art and music.
