About me
I was born in East African country and live with my family in the Bay Area for the past 25 years. I taught all bio classes except Microbiology. I teach in UC Berkeley a class on Africa while I have taught in most of the Bay Area community colleges, St Jose' and Sac State Universities. I enjoy writing and beside many articles on the deleterious effect of dams, I have a published poetry book in 2014, epic poems on the life of my family and mine.
I am involved in NGO activities and for many years have been a board member of Pesticide Action Network-North America, I have been the director of the board at the International Institute of East Bay Area IIEB for many years, I am a member of Human Rights League and many other environmental and human rights organizations.

My Philosophy
I am a moderator. I take it that my classes are an open forum where I give pointers and directions of how to study and look for further information that are of importance to students and their eventual profession.

Additional Information
Students should be open minded and ready to work in my classes.
